Thank you for visiting my website, Pilot Mountain Photography and Love's Wish Notecards.
Pilot Mountain is located in the Rockfish Valley of Central Virginia at the base of the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have made Virginia my home since 1999. Having traveled extensively throughout the United States and here and there overseas, I believe this area to be one of the most beautiful places to live and offers a wealth of photographic opportunities.Although I have been taking pictures for over 25 years, the photos on this website are primarily from this area in Virginia; from my garden to the Blue Ridge Parkway, both in black & white and color. All photographs are taken with my trusty 35mm camera, a Nikon 5005. My photographs are developed by a professional photo lab and are not manipulated. I carry my camera with me almost all the time, never focus in on any one subject matter although most of what you will see on this website is landscape and nature photography.
Love’s Wish Notecards was conceived in 2006 and is the creation of one of two last wishes that John S. Archer had for me before he passed away in 2004. John was a photographer as well and you will see some of his work in the notecard section of this website. John’s second wish to me was to be able to move on after his passing. His second wish could not have come true if it were not for the love and support of my family and friends and my partner Michael. Because of their comfort and generosity, I have been able to create Love’s Wish Notecards, establish this website and open my heart once again.
